ELLA is the only platform, built exclusively for advisors, to help guide business owners through the most consequential transitions of their professional lives.
With intuitive and engaging tools to discover and illustrate value, ELLA lets you and your clients build a plan, take action, and see real results at every stage of the advising journey.
As a "workbench", ELLA has multiple modules to help you and your clients navigate the exit journey. (with more to come)
Exit planning with ELLA starts with Fact Finding, a collaborative space to capture notes, documents, and discovery questions. Since ELLA is designed to be malleable, multiple templates allow you to tailor the process to your needs.
As you start adding data to ELLA, you can use Sensemaking to start generating quality insights. It's our take on AI—secure, private, and connected to all the context from fact finding.
Eventually, you'll want to share your findings with your exit team and/or business owner(s). With Deliverables, you can create simple, unique deliverables that effortlessly incorporate fact finding data.
Collaboration with your exit team (including business owner(s)) is currently in beta. Reach out if you'd like early access.
As you're guiding your client through the exit process, it's helpful to have a sentence or two summing up where they're at and their goal for exiting. This should be simple and readable at a glance, but incorporate the personal, business, and financial aspects of the exit. Think of it as your North Star for guiding your client to success.
Currently, ELLA has some basic functionality for capturing personal desires to work towards the exit. For example, the Exit Goal and space to add short "tags" or "badges" on the dashboard for each owner to reflect their exit expectations.
The personal side of exit planning remains a core focus for ELLA, and we're working on adding more functionality in the future.
The Exit Team is a group of advisors, collaborators, and other professionals (such as accountants, lawyers, financial advisors, and others) who are involved in the exit process. The exit team also includes the business owner(s) and people from their company or family who are involved in the exit process.
If you want to share access with more than one advisor in your firm, contact us at [email protected]. We currently have to manually add additional advisors but will be releasing a self-service flow for inviting advisors later this year.
Our pricing is based on two factors: how many advisors are on your account and how many active clients are included.
Advisors are billed at $99/mo, with discounts for quarterly and annual billing.
Clients are billed at $6/mo, with discounts for quarterly and annual billing.
10 clients are included with each advisor on the account. (ie. if you have 2 advisors, 20 clients are included before you will be billed for additional clients.)
Each client can be enabled or disabled as needed. If you disable a client, you lose the following functionality:
You'll no longer be able to add or edit information about that client.
Sensemaking will no longer work, but existing chats will still be accessible.
The client portal will be disabled, so Collaborators and Small Business Owners will no longer be able to access any information about the client. Advisors in your organization will still be able to access them.
Only active clients count towards billing limits. Inactive clients can be made active any time to regain full functionality.
We are still formalizing our enterprise program, which will include custom pricing, support, compliance features, and whitelabeling.
